Sea of Thieves developer Rare has outlined its plans for the next major update. After posting the patch notes for, Rare published a list of known issues and future plans. As confirmed earlier this week, the big news is that Rare is no longer planning on implementing the Death Cost. The Death Cost would have seen players pay a small fee after being killed within the game. But after receiving negative feedback from fans, Rare has now decided to scrap the idea.
